Equilibrium
A strange loop runs through these stories, connecting them with threads that allow either story to be read first. And whether your path begins with Art Gallery or New Jerusalem, it will take you on a journey through the four chambers of the heart, across the great political divides, out of the depths of Hell, and into the heavens.
New Jerusalem offers an explanation for the human condition of many – those who are deeply devout to Christ, yet intrinsically flawed. Since the days of Adam and Eve, humans have craved the poisonous apple of sin. And the devils who lurk in the shadows prey on this human weakness. They support those corrupt few who will give rise to a global political leviathan that will drive humanity into eternal darkness. But those who learn to fight with the angelic forces and who help the church grow will find their place in the heavens, in the new city of Jerusalem.
In Art Gallery, the line is blurred between reality and the ethereal. When the author enters this new realm, he meets the beautiful Sophia. But her spirit is tethered to the earthly plane by her concern for her family's survival, and her spiritual connection with the author abruptly ends. The author is guided by the Heavenly Father and the Archangel Michael through this spiritual search for balance and a greater equilibrium. And as he reconciles his unique individual identity with the collective soul of humanity, he learns about the opposing human natures and perspectives that push and pull us onto and off of the path to Jesus.
